Edward Beiner Purveyor of Fine Eyewear Teams Up With Care Closet for Donation Drive

The Thirteenth Amendment, enacted on December 18, 1865, made ALL slavery illegal in the United States.

However, in 2014 South Florida is a major hub for human trafficking in the country.

Edward Beiner, Purveyor of Fine Eyewear has elected to accept donations on behalf of   The State Attorney’s Office for Miami-Dade County’s Care Closet. The Care Closet helps provide clothing and toiletries to victims of human trafficking and domestic violence who often are fleeing circumstances of exploitation and violence with only the clothes on their back.

Sweat pants, hoodies and flip-flops are particularly comforting as recovery clothing for our teenage and young adult victims of human trafficking.

Please help these young victims by donating these items and travel size toiletries to the Dadeland and Brickell boutiques during the week of September 14th – 21st.

They will be delivered to the State Attorney’s office on your behalf.
